This hat fits everyone from about 3 years old to adult medium. It is easy to make.
This hat is knit mainly in the round, using double thread, starting at the bottom with a broad rib stitch. After the large border you start on the stockinette part. When the hat is done, you knit two earflaps and make a pompom. Now let’s hop to it!
We will knit this little friend flat in stockinette stitch, bottom to top, starting with the feet. Then it’s time to felt! I haven’t included elaborate felting instructions, because there are so many good instructions out there. After felting we shape and stuff. You now have a doll with a round head. If you like, you can shape the head and there are also instructions to make hair, eyes, a mouth and a pointy hat.
Make a doll house family, or a little doll your little one can take with them. Feeling a bit anxious? Calm yourself with your pocket-sized doll. They are super soft, cute and easy to make. A quick knit that brings joy.
This is a pattern for a family of pocket dolls, from 13cm/5,12in to 6cm/2,36in. These friends are knitted in the round, starting with the feet. The legs and arms are i-cords.
After felting your pocket doll is done.
I learned to read with the story of Thumbelina and that story really sparked my imagination. Imagine being that small, our garden would look like a forest.
With this pattern you get a free Dungaree crochet pattern.
Have you ever been seeking gnomes in the woods? They wear mushroom hats or flower colours, so it is very hard to spot them.
Now you can crochet one to come live with you, they also make cute gifts for gnome loving friends.
You can't have a rainbow without rain. I worked hard to turn some of my rain into these rainbow friends.
This doll makes a wonderful companion for children of all ages, rainbow enthusiasts or rainbow babies.
My daughter asked me to make her a doll with clothes as soft as her blanket. Her skin is made of cotton tricot, her cloths of Nicky velours. Her body is filled with wool. Her hair is a crochet cap of mohair yarn, her hat and booties knit with Drops Delight. My daughter named her Tida, which means sun born / daughter of the sun / with the sun as mother. As it happens, Waldorf dolls are calles zonnekindpoppen (sun child dolls) in Dutch, which makes her extra special.
These sweethearts are made of cotton tricot, with sewn on clothes of cotton. Their bodies are filled with wool. The hair, hats and booties are not all made the same:
